I’m here because I love property and I want to move faster! I want more of it, better deals, faster completions. There are lots of useful resources out there and good people with lots of experience, certainly a lot more than me, but I still feel I’ve got something to add. In particular, I reckon there are 2 areas where it’s difficult to find good information.
1. It’s difficult to find information on the specifics of deals. And why investors take one deal and not another, or make this offer not that. So I’m going to try and be as specific as I can about the deals I describe to give a flavour of what I consider to be a good deal or not.
2. What resources are really worth spending money on or investing in? So as I write, I’m going to share what I think about books, property clubs, wealth creation companies etc. And I will never, ever take any kind of commission, pay-back, affiliate income or other ‘back hander’, legitimate or otherwise. Just my personal opinion, for better or worse. And everything I suggest, will be because I personally invested in it and found it valuable.
So, here we go…
I’m a successful part time property investor with a million pound property portfolio and a small, but steady passive income. I love property and I have a passion for it that will stay with me. Right from being a child when my parents were moving house and I would collect all the property particulars and pore over them at night.
So I love this business, and I want to make a success of it full time and do it quickyl! Yes it all takes time and a LOT of effort but it’s just GOT to be worth it! I can’t help but think there’s a lot I could do to speed things up, if only I knew MORE or where to go for help. Every book you read (and I’ve read a lot!) tells you they give you a ‘step by step’ guide yet I’ve read loads and I still find myself spending ages learning how to do each step as I stumble through, blindfolded with only my passion for property and success to get me through. The books also say ‘find a mentor’ to ask questions and bounce ideas off. Well I’ve tried and I can’t find one. ‘Try harder’, yes I am! I am trying harder, but I do need to get on with it.
So that’s it. Here I am, and my next few posts will tell my story. Who I am and where I’m at with my investment plans. Along the way, I’ll desribe exactly what I’ve done so far and what I plan to do. Success AND failure, warts and all. I’ll share it all. And I hope maybe it’ll be useful, for me and for you!
